This is a pseudo-third season.
These are organized like standard episodes. Prologue, four main acts, and an epilogue. Opening credits would roll after the prologue of each episode.
All episodes are set in order, and the timeline begins immediately after Becoming 2. All events from the first two seasons have happened, although some creative editing has been added to make the dates work out. The curse that the possessed Willow preformed was identical to the original.
This is a Buffy-Angel love story. There are other relationships, but that is the main one, if you wanted a different main romance try elsewhere. If you want a story about the two star-crossed lovers, read on. But, be warned, love is never easy on the Hellmouth.
Episode 3.01:
Legacy (Part 1)The Slayer sacrificed everything in order to save the world. And then she vanished. But the world still needs her. Can one woman, weary unto death, find the courage to return home and stand against the forces of darkness?
Episode 3.02:
The Longest Road Home (Part 2)The Slayer has lost everything that she has ever loved. But fate has revealed a single path of redemption to her. Given the chance, how far will she go? How much is she willing to lose? Whom is she willing to sacrifice, in the name of love?
Episode 3.03:
The Face of EvilBuffy paid the price to open the gates of Hell, and she sacrificed a friend for the return of her only love. But worse is yet to come. Now Buffy and Angel learn the true cost of eternal love. And if they are not careful, it will be the world that suffers for their choices.
Episode 3.04: Plots, Intrigue, and Pain
Buffy has reclaimed her sacred duty. But her homecoming is not everything that she had planned. Surrounded by damaged relationships with friends and struggling to find forgiveness, she discovers a new force that wants the Slayer's life.
Episode 3.05:
Stars Shine, Shadows FallThe newest group of vampires terrorizing Sunnydale forces Buffy to confront Angel's demonic heritage. And a witch shows her a truth that destroys her belief in herself. Buffy must answer the question: What is evil? Before she makes her stand against the darkness.
Episode 3.06:
ChoicesAn ancient evil has set its sights on Angel, determined to win him back. For he alone holds the key to unlocking its greatest desire. Buffy must fight to keep love by her side. But how can even the Slayer defeat something that cannot die?
Episode 3.07: Visions of Hell
As Angel struggles with his new memories of the demon dimension, he accidentally frees an ancient evil. Now Buffy must track down a bodiless demon before Hell is unleashed on the earth. And she must do it alone, because she can trust no one.
Episode 3.08: Green Thumb
Buffy enjoys a peaceful interlude on the Hellmouth. The demons are quiet, the vampires are hiding, and her relationships with those closest to her are slowly healing. Unfortunately, old enemies reappear with agendas, and Buffy will not believe the newest form that evil takes.
Episode 3.09:
NightwingsEvil has taken to the skies, swooping down to prey on the unwary. And now it is breeding. Buffy knows that she must stop evil in all its forms, but how can she find something that cannot be tracked, and stop something that only touches the ground in order to kill?
Episode 3.10: Who Me?
The newest Sunnydale student is an instant target for the popular cliques. The gang decides to help Jamie, but Buffy believes that she is hiding a dark secret. When she discovers the truth, hunter becomes hunted, because something is after Buffy's life.
Episode 3.11: Dreaming of You
A new force enters the delicate balance of power between the Slayer and her enemies. A force that can make any dream come true. As her friends begin to fall under its spell, Buffy realizes that she must find a way to resist her greatest fantasies in order to claim victory.
Episode 3.12:
SacrificeThe first rule of Slaying is: don't die. Buffy broke that rule once, only to be brought back to life by her friends. Now, as she confronts new and old evils, her greatest danger may be her only love. Buffy must find a way to survive death once again.
Episode 3.13: An Eternity With You
The Slayer still stands against the forces of darkness. But now a force of evil has offered to assist her in her battle against the demons. Buffy needs all the help she can get, but how can she possibly accept an offer from her new family?
Episode 3.14:
The Past Will HauntNothing in Sunnydale is stable. A magical accident sends Buffy to a strange alternate dimension. As she searches for a way to survive in the past and find a way to return to the future, she must avoid making the same mistakes twice.
Episode 3.15: April Fools
Practical jokes abound in Sunnydale. But as the tricks take a deadly turn, Buffy must race to find the culprit. What she discovers is old enemies in danger. In the end, Buffy must choose which form of evil she will help.
Episode 3.16:
Fall From Grace (Part 1)
A greater demon has laid a trap for the Slayer. Buffy is separated from her friends and family and surrounded by evils that she thought she had defeated. With her only love and his family pursuing a quest of their own, she must face her final choice alone.
Episode 3.17: To Walk with Shadows
Angel now stands alone on the Hellmouth. One wrong choice has destroyed his life. Pierced to the heart by the loss of love, surrounded by treacherous alliances, and confronting his new nature, Angel must find a way to accept destiny and destroy the forces of darkness.
Episode 3.18: The Hunt
One human soul still guards a portal to Hell. But now that soul is under attack, for the newest champion of evil is determined to reclaim her magical abilities. Angel must find a way to destroy that evil and capture the portal before it can be delivered into the hands of demons.
Episode 3.19: Acceptance
Angel guards Sunnydale from the forces that would destroy it. Her sacred duty was his Slayer's final gift to him. But he is haunted by ghosts, hunted by shadows, and claimed by demons. Angel must accept the darkness within himself before he can rediscover the power of love.
Episode 3.20: The Paths of Darkness
Buffy and Angel stand between the darkness and light, caught between their love for each other and their hatred of themselves. Each searches for a way to destroy evil, both within and without. But the only path out of the darkness requires them both.
Episode 3.21: Dreams for the Dead
A new player enters the games in Sunnydale, wielding a power that can control and summon the dead. It is up to those trapped between life and death to stop this newest threat. But to which side of their dual nature will they be true? And is the threat really new?
Episode 3.22: False Dawn
The Fury's moment of ascension is at hand. The Immortal Slayer's only hope is to wield the powers of light, but they require sacrifices she is unwilling to make. If Buffy cannot make the choice, others will make it for her. To save the world, she must accept her full destiny, and stand alone against the darkness.
