This is more exciting than it sounds:

The weeklong holidays around International Labour Day, National Day and Spring Festival are likely to be altered in the future, vice-director of the National Tourism Administration Wang Zhifa said on Wednesday.

I've been railing for a while now that something needs to be done about transportation during the holidays. But if something will be done about the holidays themselves, that's even better.
